New Delhi:
Union Budget 2025
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2025-2026 in Parliament today.
In it, many things were announced like income tax exemption ceiling,
education and special notifications for youth. However, no announcement was made in the budget for Tamil Nadu. Following this, political leaders from Tamil Nadu are also expressing their views.

Already, former AIADMK minister Jayakumar, senior DMK leader T.R. Balu had spoken. Following them, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has put forward a strong condemnation.
Regarding this, he said on his X website page, “Is the unified financial statement a deception as far as Tamil Nadu is concerned? Even the name Tamil Nadu does not appear regularly? We made so many demands, but did not feel like confirming even one of them and adding it to the report? Highways – Railway Projects – Coimbatore, Madurai Metro Rail Why not give anything?
What prevents? Tamil Nadu ranks first in all the reports of the Union Government like economic report, ranking report of higher education institutions, Niti Aayog report. Page after page the praise for the activities of Tamil Nadu is read. But why is Tamil Nadu completely ignored in the financial report alone?
Shouldn’t Tamil Nadu show a little bit of interest in imposing policies and language that Tamil Nadu does not accept in the allocation of funds? As the Union Government keeps reducing its share in its schemes, the financial burden of the State Government keeps increasing.
The Union Government, which provides very low subsidy amount in various schemes, has imposed various restrictions only on Tamil Nadu. The Union Government, which is obsessed with advertising, does not release the project funds due to us, even if the project is implemented properly and thoroughly, if the Union Government seal is not placed on the project advertisements.
Admiring only advertising, the Union Government refuses to show any concern for the welfare of the people. BJP’s bhammat play continues as usual, deceiving the people of India through statements with empty words and deceitful veneers. In which state the election will be held, where BJP What is the need to call it a ‘unified’ financial statement if the schemes and funds are announced only for the state under coalition rule? M.K.Stalin also put his series of questions in front of Kadam.
